(Elcamino)
This is what I started with. Isn't it beautiful? It was so nice that a friend gave it to me, and after several days of cleaning it up I decided to give it back. He convinced me to keep it. Some people said that it should have been crushed.

I brought this piece of junk home, jacked it up and dragged the frame out from under it. Thanks for the help Sean. My wife was thrilled to have such a nice decoration adding to the ambiance of our home. It wasn't there long though I bought a 79 Elcamino to strip. I got the entire brake system, power steering, wiring harness, and a bunch of other parts. I installed a used 350 from a 92 Roadmaster swapped the cam with a zz3 cam, put a 700r4 behind it, and a 342 posi rear.
It's really hard to do body work in your backyard. After the Elcamino was roadworthy I built a garage. Thank God for good friends that helped stand up walls, and put up trusses. There are some things that you just can't do alone.

Once I had a place to work I started installing the new quarter panels, they came in cans. It takes alot of patience to make it look right.
After sandblasting the bed I sealed the whole thing in epoxy primer.I drove it like this for a while. I got sidetracked on th Fiero project.
